Chinese Olympic Special Event Stations On the Air

The 2008 Beijing Olympic Games Special Event Amateur Radio Stations has began on 16th May and will continue until 17th September.. Five special calls, representing the five rings of the Olympic flag, are on air. The stations are BT1OB, BT1OJ, BT1OH, BT1OY and BT1ON. The last letter of the call sign corresponds to the color of each of the rings of the Olympic flag - Beibei (Blue), Jingjing (Black), Huanhuan (Red), Yingying (Yellow) and Nini (Green). BA4EG is the QSL manager for all stations. QSLs can be sent either direct or via the bureau and will begin to be answered in October. The first TT a.k.a eyeball with 9W2PHE (Pak Mahadi)

I was watching videos in my room when suddenly my dad told me that there's someone wanted to meet me. I was surprised thinking that was an agent from TM because for almost a month, a TM operator keep calling every 2 days to remind me to pay the overdue of my old phone account, that i never even use. Walking to the door with a little adrenaline rush, i was relieved to know that the decent middle age gentleman wearing "kupiah" is not what i was thinking of. The man handed me his card, with "Mahadi Bin Yahya, 9W2PHE" written on it. I was really please, having the chance that came directly to me, to my house, meeting a man, that is among the pioneer of Perak Amateur Radio Transmitter's Society (PARTS) and also an experience ham in Perak. It was a short meeting as he came to my house actually to picks up his daughter (my sister is his daughter English teacher). After taking some pics, 9W2PHE drove back to his home.
